Ashland Springs Hotel The Ashland Springs Hotel is the lodging landmark in the heart of town. The restored nine-story "skyscraper" (circa 1925) is now a tasteful small hotel with a dramatic lobby, a garden courtyard, and Lark's Dining Room. Full breakfast is complimentary to hotel guests. Well-furnished rooms range from compact to spacious and have a mini-refrigerator. Most have fine views of town and surrounding hills and mountains. Lark's opened in spring 2005 with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients. The house salad uses local organic greens, dried cranberries and candied hazelnuts with marionberry vinaigrette. The warm, casually elegant surroundings provide the right ambiance for a dining room worthy of this fine historic hotel.
