North Conway, New Hampshire

A picturesque little lake is the centerpiece of this state park. Swimming in clear, cool water by a sandy beach is the main attraction. There are also picnic sites and hiking trails. Nearby, a scenic road to the top of Cathedral Ledge, 700 feet above the valley, offers panoramic views of the White Mountains. Closed fall-spring.
